From Freedom to Empowerment
Engineer Hongo was born and raised in Kenya. From an early age, he learned the value of hard work, community, and education. After earning his engineering degree, he spent decades designing infrastructure, creating jobs, and mentoring young professionals across the country.
His entry into public service was driven by a simple observation: too many good ideas never reach the people who need them most. He believes that Kenya has the talent, resources, and resilience to become a model of African progress — if led by people who put citizens first.
Today, Engineer Hongo is running for President to move Kenya from freedom to empowerment: a nation where citizens are active participants in a productive economy, not passive beneficiaries of government programmes.
